Every driver must produce his or her driving licence on collection of the vehicle. Details of any endorsements/penalty points for people who hold a UK driving licence are now kept online and not on the driving licence or paper counterpart. Each driver will need to visit www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence before arrival to create a licence check code, which they must produce when they come in to collect the vehicle. The code is only valid for 21 days.

You will need to supply us with the check code so that we can log on and view your details.

You will also need to bring proof of ID showing your current address by means of:

  • recent utility bill (within the last 60 days)
  • or bank statement or
  • council tax bill
  • AND the debit or credit used to pay for the vehicle on-line
    (the holder of the card MUST be present)

All named drivers will need to bring the above also

Between 21 and 75 years and having held a full clean driving licence for a minimum of 2 years. Vans with tail-lifts can only be hired by persons 25 and over.
Most penalty points are acceptable for say speeding, parking etc. If you have endorsements for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with no insurance or you have been banned from driving within the last 10 years you MUST contact us before booking so that we can check your status with our insurers. There may also be an additional insurance premium for some occupations. This sum will not be known until the insurance cover is proposed. You may be liable for any additional insurance premium.
You can have as many additional drivers as you require. However please note that all drivers must meet the requirements as set out in “What do I need to bring when I collect my vehicle”. Also an additional insurance charge will be levied for the additional driver.
All Hirers will be required to pay a refundable deposit by debit or credit card on collection of the vehicle. The deposit is £200, the card must be in the name of the Hirer and the cardholder must be present. The deposit will be refunded when the vehicle is returned in the same condition as it was hired out.

We accept all major debit and credit cards. We do not accept American Express, Pay as you go cards, cash or cheques.

You can book your vehicle on-line using our automated service. However your booking is not secure until you receive confirmation from us. If you wish to change any of the dates or times in your on-line booking please contact us immediately by telephone.

You MUST bring all your ID documentation AND the card you used to book the vehicle on-line to the collection point. Your card details used on-line are put in to secure the booking.

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds can take up to 5 days to be processed by the Bank.
The vehicle must be returned before the end of the Rental Period. Refunds for early returns will only be given if we have received 24 hours notice of the same. The deposit will be refunded when the vehicle is returned to us in the same condition as it was at the commencement of the Rental Period. Refunds can take up to 5 days to be processed by the Bank.

Unfortunately none of our vehicles have tow bars fitted
All our vans are insured by ourselves and it covers you the Hirer to drive on a public highway. It is fully comprehensive insurance with an excess of £1,000.
If you have agreed to reduce the excess to £200 this is dependent on any licence endorsements, driving experience, your intended use of the vehicle and any previous accidents.

Excess reduction does not cover:

  • damage caused above Windscreen height
  • damage caused to a vehicle whilst not on the public highway
  • theft of the vehicle
  • acts of vandalism
  • malicious acts
  • damage caused by the negligence of the driver
  • if any of the terms of the Rental Agreement are breached
  • lost or broken keys
  • damage to windscreens and glass
  • punctures or blowouts

In the unlikely event of the vehicle breaking down you are asked to contact Roadside Breakdown Service of the RAC. The number to contact can be found on the inside of the windscreen of the vehicle.
All our vehicles will have a full tank of fuel. You must return the vehicle likewise with a full tank of fuel. If you do not return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel you will be charged 10% over the forecourt prices, to cover our administration charge. The type of fuel required for the vehicle is clearly marked near the fuel cap. Any costs expended by us in relation to you using the wrong fuel, which are not covered by the insurance or breakdown cover, will be charged to the Hirer.
You will need to collect the vehicle from our address. Delivery is occasionally available but please contact us to discuss your requirements. Please see our contact page for our opening hours. You will need to return the vehicle during our opening hours or by prior arrangement with us. You will remain liable for the vehicle until a member of our staff has checked it.
If you get caught speeding, illegally parking, failing to pay the London Congestion Charge etc whilst driving the vehicle your details will be forwarded to the enforcing authority and we reserve the right to charge you an administration fee of £30 for this.

The London Congestion Charge is applicable if you drive in central London between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, but excludes Bank Holidays. Failure to pay the Congestion Charge will result in a fine and our administration fee as mentioned above.
